I, a Japanese who have Switch and SteamDeck but don't have PS5 wonder if I should buy PS5 Pro

PS5 Pro has been announced! ! ! !

I have Nintendo Switch but don't have PS5.

Last year, I bought "SteamDeck" which is portable gaming PC.

I wanted to play PlayStation games that I can't play on Switch, such as Detroit: Become Human and Marvel's Spider-Man,

so I decided to buy  PS5 or  SteamDeck.

I bought SteamDeck instead of a PS5 because I was attracted to the good points of SteamDeck  that I can lie in bed gaming.

I'm very glad that I bought SteamDeck. But I was so enthusiastic about Marvel's Spider-Man and I had a strong desire to experience all the features of this game.

SteamDeck is very good  for playing games simply, but once I want to more function, SteamDeck is a little unsatisfying!  Let's buy PS5! !

With that in mind, I decided to buy PS5 someday. 

However, I got information that "PS5 Pro might be released", I waited and saw. Then, in Japan, recently, the price of PS5 had increased! !

When the price of PS5 increased in Japan, I thought I'd buy it not pro, but it was sold out everywhere and I couldn't buy PS5, so I thought, "Okay, I'll get the PS5 Pro", so I waited until today.

The announced price in Japan is about 120,000 yen! ! ! ! !

It's too expensive for me!!

And PS5 Pro doesn't heve Discdrive.

One reason that I want to PS5 is "I can watch 4K UHD Blueray Disc on PS5".

For me who not only wants to play games but also want to watch 4KUHD, a disc drive is a must-have item, and it currently costs about 12,000 yen at the Sony Store, so if I buy PS5 Pro, I would need about 130,000 yen. ! ! !

It's too expensive, and I'm currently hesitating, thinking, "Maybe I should buy PS5 not pro about 80,000 yen, or  I might as well put in the effort and get a Pro not to regret later.

On the internet, many Japanese say PS5 is a little too expensive.

In your country, PS5 is expensive or reasonable?_

The List of movie songs appear place name in its lyrics

When a place name appears in the lyrics of songs, it makes me think of that place and it gives me a sense of romance.

I went to MOTHER2 exhibition! (In Japan)

I love a certain RPG. "MOTHER2" (EarthBound).

MOTHER2's theme is not everyday life. Boy and girl fight to save the earth.

But, when we play MOTHER2, we feel everyday life and our heart become warm.

MOTHER2 is such wonder heartful exciting game!

Now, in Japan, an exhibition, "MOTHER2のひみつ。展　(SECRETS OF MOTHER2)" where you can see the development materials of MOTHER2 is being held in Shibuya, Tokyo.

In Kanda Nishikicho, Umeda, Sapporo, and Nagoya, an exhibition called "MOTHER2のひみつ。サテライト展（The Secret of MOTHER2 Satellite Exhibition）" is being held. Satellite Exhibition mainly sells goods, but we can also see a little reproduction materials!

I live in Osaka. Osaka is far from Tokyo. So I can't went to main exhibition at Shibuya, Tokyo.

But I went to Sattellite Exhibition at Umeda, Osaka!!!

I watched old movie at the movie theater③ "Cinderella" Disney100 Film Festival in Japan

In 2023, the year of Disney's 100th anniversary, also in Japan, we could experience various celebrate Disney projects.

For example, Disney's digital stamp rally, the 100th anniversary movie "Wish", and a short film called "Once Upon a Studio" in which appear various characters from previous Disney movies.

One of such projects was "Disney 100 Film Festival".

This is an event where classic Disney animations that are loved by everyone were released in movie theaters on weekend in October.

I heard that the lineup of movies differs depending on the country.

In Japan, the lineup was like this.

1.Frozen (played 1st October)
2.Big Hero 6 (played 8th October)
3.Cinderella (played 14th October)
4.Moana (played 15th October)
5.The Little Mermaid (played 21st October)
6.Zootopia (played 22nd October)
7.Tangled (played 28th October)
8.Fantasia (played 29th October)

I went to watch two movies. "Cinderella" and "Fantasia".

In this article, I would like to write about my experience watching "Cinderella (Japanese dubbed version)".

I watched old movie at the movie theater ② "The Towering Inferno"

In Japan, last summer, "The Towering Inferno" was screened in movie theaters in Japan at 午前十時の映画祭（Gozen-Juji-No-Eigasai）.

午前十時の映画祭 is a project in which a various classic movies are screened in one year at the movie theaters around Japan, once a day during one or two weeks.

"The Towering Inferno" is a panic movie released in 1974 starring Steve McQueen and Paul Newman. This movie is about a skyscraper on fire.

I hadn't watched panic movies much before, but I heard that Fred Astaire is appearing in this movie. I'm classic musical movie's freak.

In 午前十時の映画祭, "Lawrence of Arabia"(227minutes version) was screened in June 2023.

This movie is a 227-minute big piece released in 1962!!

The screening at 午前十時の映画祭 was in 4K.

I had heard the famous theme song for this movie composed by Maurice Jarre.

But I have not watched this movie because I didn't have the confidence to stay focused in front of the TV for 227 minutes, 3 hours and 47 minutes.

I thought that I would only be able to watch it in a movie theater, which is a place where we can watch a movie from beginning to end without touching our smartphone.

As soon as I heard that this movie would be shown at the movie theater in 午前十時の映画祭, I decided to go watch it.

Songs I knew from video games②「Let's Go Sunning」 (Marvel's Spider-Man)

We can move Spider-Man and fly around Manhattan in first of the Spider-Man's game series of Insomniac games,  "Marvel's Spider-Man".

In this game, there is a boom box at the doc's labo, and we can select music from several types of music to push button.

Only one of the songs has lyrics. English lyric is sung with woman's voice. I thought this song is old-fashioned and cool. And I started to like it.

I wondered what is this song's title.

I researched and I found that this song is "Let's Go Sunning", composed by Jack Shaindlin.
